South of Midnight

I had the pleasure of working on South of midnight for around three years and a half and had lots of fun on this project. When I joined the team the project was just at the beginning and I was fortunate enough to be given the chance to work on both concepts and 3D models for the characters and creatures on the game.

The trailers of South of Midnight shows some really nice work done by the team at compulsion. I was responsible for the 3D model of Shakin Bones and tried to do my best to get as close as possible to Rael Lyra's concept and still make sure it worked well in 3D. Working on the vegetation covering it was also lots of fun.(The guitar model was done by another team). For the second trailer you can see one of the last assets I worked on while I was still there, the Brute Haint.

Really proud of the work of the team and what I managed to contribute to the project. Rodrigue Pralier was the lead on the character team at the time and Whitney Clayton was our AD. Rael Lyra and Joao Bragato was responsible for many nice concepts on the game and on both characters I worked on on this trailer. Shakin Bones by Rael Lyra and Brute Haint by Joao Bragato.

Also a big thanks to Miguel Hernandez for the lighting done on the game, really helped to bring the characters to life.
